Sited on a corner lot, this quintessential California ranch home was in dire need of updating throughout. Initial masterplans identified opportunities for a more functional flow between all interior spaces as well as strategies for connecting the interior and exterior to allow a seamless relationship from the main living areas to the rear yard. Main interior spaces were opened up to each other and a large dormer was added to create high ceilings and allow more natural light into the Living Room. New darkly painted board and batten siding created a perfect backdrop for the new Montecito inspired hardscaping and vibrant plantings.
